Putting My Feet Up. (Ha!)

I know it’s a bit lazy but I really don’t have time to do a proper update at present and I have some beautiful photos to put on, so it will just have to wait a little longer.

On Sunday I was out for the day with a friend I met through my Rowley Regis Online site. That site has been the biggest help for me in my Family History Research and although it may sound macabre, on Sunday, Sandra and I went Grave hunting and clearing. With a lunch at a pub of course.

I had to write up our day on my RRO Blog, so that other members could see what we had been up to. It is also of great interest to those RRO Members who live too far away to visit the Family Churches themselves. We even have Australian Members whose family were transported for petty crime in the 19th C.

So until I get round to doing a proper entry, here is a link to how two slightly  crazed, middle aged grannies spent their Sunday.

I think it is quite awesome!!!  I like old graveyards even when I don't know anyone there!

And, as for a proper update... who's to say what that is?  Any update is just fine... sometimes a quick one, sometimes pics and all the frills!

be well,
Dawn

Thank God! I have found someone else who likes grave hunting!  I was begining to think I was the only 'freak' as I am known amongst my group of friends!  Now I can tell them there are more of us!!!...lol... Its quite amazing what you can find out about people and places from grave yards.  In small outback towns here you can see when illness swept through, mining disasters, all sorts of things. All very interesting!!!
Glad you had a good day. Oh and Happy Belated Birthday too!

Hugs
